November 3rd, 2010 In a widely anticipated move, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has declared the 2010 Midterm Elections unconstitutional. This effectively invalidates all U.S. Congressional races as well as state legislative and judicial races, governor, school board, sheriff, county dogcatcher, and mayoral races throughout the entire country. Precedent for the sweeping decision was summed up in an opinion by Justice Biff Ubermensch, in which he reminded voters that the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals had in fact once had jurisdiction over China. Justice Biff went on to write that as California had annexed the other 49 states that elections would now have to be viewed as a largely anachronistic and regressive mode of political expression, and added somewhat cryptically, "anyways, could it be you were hot-wired, late one night when you were tired, they stole your minds and thought you'd never know it, I mean, not to quote John Phillips or anything." |
