January 25th, 2009 - Remember the fun you had as a kid making shadow puppets with your hands against the wall? You could create a dog, a duck, an old woman perhaps. Well you may wish you had kept up those skills, because people with the ability to cast just such shadows are a hot commodity now as photographer's models. They're enjoying starring roles in the 'lone couple silhoutted against the sunset' genre of photos that we've all become familiar with and they're making good money at it too! |

Away from the photo shoot, Shadow Puppet People live in a manner much like you and I. Here, Billy takes a spin around the neighborhood. Billy specializes in projecting camels, deer, llamas and the like. Currently he's taking advanced shadow-casting classes with an emphasis on the emulation of odd-toed ungulates. "My favorite is the tapir!" says young Billy. |
